## In short

A Ginza pre-wedding photoshoot is $800 for 30 minutes and 15 edited photos, delivered within 7 days. The base session is one outfit at the Wako corner as the windows light up; the full route from Kabukiza to Tokyo Station Marunouchi at blue hour, with a second outfit, takes extra hours at $150 each. Hair and make-up is $100; we arrange a place to change.

Where Asakusa gives a pre-wedding shoot its traditional Tokyo, Ginza gives it the city in evening dress: the 1932 Wako clock tower, the curved gables of Kabukiza, and — a fifteen-minute walk away — the red-brick Tokyo Station lit at dusk. It is the place for a gown and a dark suit rather than a costume, and the route ends exactly when the lights come on.

## How the shoot is planned

With extra hours we start at Kabukiza well before blue hour: if you have a kimono outfit, this is where it belongs, framed against the red lanterns. After the change, the gown goes to the side streets of 5- and 6-chome, then to the Wako corner as the shop windows brighten — on its own, that corner is the base half-hour. From there it is a fifteen-minute walk through Yurakucho to Marunouchi. The last forty minutes are on the Tokyo Station plaza and Gyoko-dori, the domed façade lit behind you, and finally the KITTE rooftop if you want the elevated view.

## Timing

Weekday late afternoons are the window. On weekends Chuo-dori turns pedestrian from noon and is too crowded for a train, and police patrol the zone, so we keep the gown to side streets anyway. November to February is the strongest season: dusk around 4:30, Marunouchi Naka-dori lit in gold from early November, and Christmas windows in Ginza. In summer, blue hour is near 7:20 pm and the stone plaza holds the heat, so we start later and shorter outdoors.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is included in the $800 Ginza pre-wedding package?

Thirty minutes of photography, a location plan, a place to change arranged, and 15 edited photos in a private gallery within 7 days; outfit changes and the longer route are extra hours at $150. Not included: the gown and suit, hair and make-up ($100), and a pre-wedding film, which is a separate $1,200 booking.

### Where do we change outfits in Ginza?

Public toilets and department-store fitting rooms are not an option. We book a rental room or use your hotel room if it is nearby; several hotels between Ginza and Tokyo Station are within a short walk of the route.

### Can we use a tripod or lighting stands for the night frames?

No. Tripods and stands are not allowed in the pedestrian zone and are not welcome on the station plaza. We shoot handheld with fast lenses and, where needed, a small light held by an assistant, which keeps us mobile and inside the rules.

### Is a gown practical on Ginza’s streets?

A gown with a short or detachable train is far easier on pavement and stone plazas than a cathedral train. Bring flat shoes for the walk between locations; the full route totals about two kilometres, and we carry the train between frames.
