Book your shoot

The form above collects four things — place, type of shoot, date and how to reach you — and that is enough to quote. You are not choosing a package or paying a deposit at this stage; you are asking a question. We check availability and reply on WhatsApp within 2 hours, 9:00–21:00 Japan time.

The price you are quoted, in US dollars, is the price you pay. It covers the shoot, the editing and a private gallery in full resolution. Options that change it — an extra hour at $150, kimono rental with dressing at a studio near the shoot at $55 per person, a drone add-on at $235 where flying is legal, 24-hour photo delivery at $80 — are priced before you agree to anything.

Once you confirm in writing, the photographer takes over the scheduling, and that conversation is where the useful detail happens: when sunrise is that week, whether the shrine or temple you want allows a shoot and charges a fee, which kimono studio is nearest, whether a drone permit is realistic, where to meet.

If rain, a typhoon or cloud over Fuji cancels the slot, the shoot moves at no cost. If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can. And if we cannot deliver what was agreed, you get your money back — that is why the quote can be a fixed number rather than an estimate.
