Honeymoon photoshoot in Tokyo

In short

A honeymoon photoshoot in Tokyo costs $300 for 30 minutes and 15 edited photos, delivered within 3 days. The session covers one place in one outfit, planned from your hotel. Our default is Marunouchi around sunset; Ginza after dark, a ten-minute walk away, or a second outfit is added with an extra hour. Asakusa and the Sumida River is the traditional alternative.

Why here

Why choose Honeymoon photoshoot in Tokyo?

A honeymoon in Tokyo is usually the first stop of a longer trip, and the photographs should look like the city at its best, not like a wedding redone. The base 30 minutes is one neighbourhood in one outfit, and the most reliable is Marunouchi at dusk: the palace moat and the red-brick station in the last light. With an extra hour it carries on into Ginza, to the lit Wako clock as the windows come on, or makes room for a second outfit.

How the shoot is planned

How a session in Tokyo is planned

01

The route

Meet at Nijubashi shortly before sunset, when the tour groups have gone and the stone bridge and Fushimi watchtower catch the low sun. Walk Gyoko-dori towards Tokyo Station as the façade lights up, and finish on the KITTE rooftop for one elevated frame. With an extra hour you can change nearby — a hotel or a café — before ten minutes on foot via Yurakucho to Ginza, for the Wako corner from across the crossing, a side street of lit windows, and, if you like, a drink under the Yurakucho arches as the closing frame.

02

The timing

The route depends on sunset, which runs from about 4:30 pm in December to 7 pm in late June. November to February gives the clearest skies and Marunouchi’s gold illuminations; late March to early April adds cherries at Chidorigafuchi, best shot at dawn instead, as a separate morning. In the June–July rainy season, light rain is an asset in Ginza at night, but we keep a dry backup date in your itinerary if we can.

FAQ — Honeymoon photoshoot in Tokyo

How much is a honeymoon photoshoot in Tokyo?

$300 for 30 minutes, one place and one outfit, a route from your hotel and 15 edited photos within 3 days. Popular additions are an extra hour ($150) for Ginza after dark, hair and make-up ($100), or a 15–30 second reel cut from the same session for $120.

Can we wear our wedding dress and suit again?

You can, and the Tokyo Station plaza suits it. A long train is hard work on the Ginza crossings, so for a full gown shoot with detailed retouching, the pre-wedding booking ($800) is the better fit.

We are only in Tokyo for two days. Which day should we shoot?

The first evening, if your flight lands by early afternoon. That leaves the second day as a rain backup and lets you see your photos before you move on. Jet lag also tends to make a dusk session easier than a dawn one.
